Okay, she had me at “Brit.” As in the title of her new book, Beauty and the Brit. Look at that cover! What’s not to love? Let me introduce you to one of my fellow Avon Authors, Lizbeth Selvig.
1) Did you have a nickname growing up? My family (started by a beloved auntie) called me LittleBit, which sounds hilarious to my mind now at my age and weight. Also, I met my husband at the “tender age” of fifteen, and from that day to this he calls me Lizard.
2) How do you pick the names of your … Read more »
Meet Kim, who runs the blog, SOS ALOHA Book Blog. I’ve known Kim for years–when she was actually fortunate enough to live in Hawaii. Kim describes herself as a “romance reader and a community volunteer.” Make that a one woman steamroller when it comes to getting things done, whether it is gathering books for military wives or other military causes or just seeing a need and rolling up her sleeves. Here is Kim:
1. Where is the most beautiful/romantic place you’ve ever been? Tintagel Castle in Cornwall, England, rumored to be King Arthur’s birthplace.
2. Favorite place to read?… Read more »
I’ve known for Elizabeth Hoyt for some time–occasionally we get seated beside each other at signings. (When they do the authors by first names not last names). She is smart, funny and good company. And best of all, her books are to die for good. Am I right? Of course I am.
When I asked her to drop by, she insisted on doing a giveaway, so make sure to answer the question below to be entered. And you want to make sure you are entered because Elizabeth is kindly giving away a copy of her newly released book, DARLING BEAST… Read more »
You all are going to know immediately why I want you to meet Heather, from Fun-Size Reads. She’s a “librarian, a blogger, a knitter, a total geek and an unabashed romance reader.” Her words. But each one of them near and dear to my heart. We are probably sisters separated at birth.
After 18+ years of talking about books for work (the absolute best part of her job, she says,) she created Fun-Size Reads, a book review blog so she could share her passion for books with all of us. She also reviews for the School Library Journal. She … Read more »
‘Cause I just love meeting people online and then sharing their fun with the world, I thought wouldn’t it be a kick to feature bloggers, readers and romance addicts every Friday, so everyone can find MORE places to share their love of books. Felicia of The Geeky Blogger’s Book Blog kindly and nicely agreed to go first. So please give Felicia a warm welcome and then make sure to go visit her blog and friend her on all your favorite social media haunts.
With further ado, please meet Felicia.

I am in love with Pinterest. Yeah, I know. So is everyone else. But if you are like me, and have always loved collages, and images and pictures to inspire you for whatever it is that you love to create–whether it is decorating, crafting, cooking, and yes, writing, Pinterest is so perfect for collecting the pictures you love and that you love for inspiration.
Take this one for example:
I absolutely loved this gown! A Regency fashion print from 1810, published in Ackermann’s Repository Series 1, Vol 4, the July Issue. Not only was it right dead on for the … Read more »

This week’s Five Things features Toni Blake, who has written all sorts of wonderful contemporary stories, is always a hoot to hang out with and was willing to subject herself to the ruthless screening process that makes up the Five Things review. So without further ado, Five Things About Toni Blake.
Favorite indulgence: TV, plain and simple. My name is Toni and I’m a TV-aholic. People come down on TV-watching like it’s a horrible thing, but I disagree. So much of what’s on TV is very well done – comedies make me laugh, dramas make me think and feel. As … Read more »
As is with my Thursdays, I’ve dug up Five Things about fellow Avon Author, Jenny Brown. Here they are:
1. The last book you read: Gold Diggers: Striking It Rich in the Klondike by Charlotte Gray.
2. Favorite place to shop online: The Book Depository.com. Free shipping on English books not for sale in the U.S.
3. If you could go on a date with one of your heroes, which one and why? Captain Trevelyan from my next book, Star Crossed Seduction. It might end up being only a one night stand, but I’d remember that night for … Read more »
