5 Things About Mia Marlowe

Let’s give a big welcome to the lovely and talented, Mia Marlowe–who was willing to spill 5 Things your might not know about her.

But I think it may have been because I’m the sort who likes to take care of people and make sure they’re okay. I love my family, but also like the idea that friends are the family you choose for yourself.

2) How do you pick the names of your Read more »

Sneak Peek: Meet Hannibal

ElizBo3One of my favorite parts of The Viscount Who Lived Down the Lane is Hannibal

, Louisa Tempest’s miscreant cat. A beast of a feline who is known far and wide for his bad manners, Louisa is always, well, you’ll see:

“I do believe I can remedy this,” Louisa told the viscount, catching up the pot and marching determinedly toward the house when a protest arose from underneath the lilac bush.
   Rrrroew.
All three of them turned and she reversed course, climbing down through the weeds until she spied Hannibal tucked beneath. Moving quickly, she scooped him up.

Sneak Peek: The Viscount Who Lived Down the Lane

Nearly here! Only another week until The Viscount Who Lived Down the Lane releases and so I thought I would tease, er, share with you a sneak peek inside.

Damaged and broken he might appear, but Pierson was still a man.
He pulled Louisa closer, hitching her up against him, so close, she teetered on the tips of her slippers and found her fingers winding into the lapels of his coat, if only to steady herself.
She might have toppled him over earlier, but now he was upending her world, and she couldn’t do anything but

Have You Met: Avon Addict Heather Cover?

You all are going to know immediately why I want you to meet Heather, from Fun-Size Reads. She’s a “librarian, a blogger, a knitter, a total geek and an unabashed romance reader.” Her words. But each one of them near and dear to my heart. We are probably sisters separated at birth.

After 18+ years of talking about books for work (the absolute best part of her job, she says,) she created Fun-Size Reads, a book review blog so she could share her passion for books with all of us. She also reviews for the School Library Journal. She … Read more »

Take a Sneak Peak inside a Rogue

Let’s just get to the good stuff, shall we? I’ve posted the excerpt for Have You Any Rogues?! And apparently I do, Yes, Sir, Yes, Sir, Three Rogues will do. Tee Hee. HAVE YOU ANY ROGUES?

As a little backstory, I got the idea for Have You Any Rogues? while I was writing And The Miss Ran Away with the Rake. There is a scene, late in the book, where Crispin Dale comes to Owle Park and demands that Preston hand over his cousin, Daphne. As Crispin was there, glowering on the front steps, I realized–or at least in my imagination–I saw … Read more »
