Okay, she had me at “Brit.” As in the title of her new book, Beauty and the Brit. Look at that cover! What’s not to love? Let me introduce you to one of my fellow Avon Authors, Lizbeth Selvig.

1) Did you have a nickname growing up? My family (started by a beloved auntie) called me LittleBit, which sounds hilarious to my mind now at my age and weight. Also, I met my husband at the “tender age” of fifteen, and from that day to this he calls me Lizard.

2) How do you pick the names of your Read more »

Take this one for example:

I absolutely loved this gown! A Regency fashion print from 1810, published in Ackermann’s Repository Series 1, Vol 4, the July Issue. Not only was it right dead on for the … Read more »

This week’s Five Things features Toni Blake, who has written all sorts of wonderful contemporary stories, is always a hoot to hang out with and was willing to subject herself to the ruthless screening process that makes up the Five Things review. So without further ado, Five Things About Toni Blake.

Favorite indulgence: TV, plain and simple. My name is Toni and I’m a TV-aholic. People come down on TV-watching like it’s a horrible thing, but I disagree. So much of what’s on TV is very well done – comedies make me laugh, dramas make me think and feel. As … Read more »
