Fall?

I really don’t need the calendar to tell me it is Fall. All I have to do is look around. Some of the trees in my neighborhood have already started to turn colors, despite our lingering and lovely summer weather here in Seattle. If you ever decide to visit the Emerald City, consider doing it in September. Mid-September is always lovely–downtown and the sights aren’t crowded with tourists and the weather is just perfect–upper 70s with lovely sunsets over the Olympics.

Happily Ever After

In the world of writing romance, those words are our stock in trade. Happily Ever After. This weekend, I got to see it in real life.

The DH and I ditched the kids with Jessica, and flew over to Walla Walla, Washington to go to a wedding. I haven’t been to a wedding in ages. I think it was my brother-in-law’s first wedding was the last one I went to. So yes, it’s been a while.

Just Saying . . .

With the waning days of summer, be warned that you might get caught up in the last of the sunny days, and you might be driving down the street and see, perhaps, a really hot and handsome guy working on some landscaping or perhaps at a construction site.
